Lately I have been paranoid becasue I have seen some people in my family having thinning hair and I know that happens with age, I have been feeling what seemied to me like thinner hair in certain areas of my head. My hair is greying in front and on top so I could not tell if in fact my hair was thinning or it was the optical illusion of the grey hair against my skin making the part look wider than it actualy was. Two years ago now, I had relaxed my hair, my hair never does well with the chemicals (i thought it would make my hair easier to manage--bad decision--lol)anyway the chemicals also damage my scalp making it VERY DRY and flaky. Last time I was ****** with the relaxer it took my scalp 2 years to recover, and my hair a year to fully grow it out and stop breaking. so I should have remembered this before relaxing it again! lol ANYWAY... I bought this thinking worst case scenario it will stop thining if that is happening and best case scenario help my hair to grow back SUPERFAST!! That hasnt happened but instead my hair is feels thicker, healthier and all around fabulous!! I attribute it to the cap! One day I relaized that my scalp is not dry but healthy and balanced, it healed my scalp within the first couple months from the damage of the relaxer. My hair is normally OILY by the scalp and dry at the ends, not anymore its like its all in balanced now. (yeah it was weird dry scalp but oily hair...again the relaxer dried up my normally balanced scalp). My hair has not grown superfast like I thought nor has new little hairs growing in , I feel like my hair is thicker becasue Less is coming out when I brush and comb it. I''''m happy to say that my hair is regrowing beautifully. I''''m no longer self conscious about my hair style. I have lots of new baby hair coming in, and it''''s my natural dark color, not white like a lot of my hair is. I give most of the credit to the CNV helmet; I''''ve tried Rogaine for women in the past with little result, but this time around my hair is really responding. I noticed immediately, that the light, which is a mixture of laser and LED , had a warming effect on my scalp. After the first use I noticed my scalp burned a little. Within a week, I noticed my hair felt thicker but no visible improvements to the thinning areas. I have always had thin hair, but I am a male, 33 y/o and started to notice early stages of male pattern baldness about 2 years ago. It had reached the point where it was impossible to hide. I lost my hair due to chemo. When it grew back it was very thin, with patchy bald spots. I tried everything I could find out about, with no real results. I started the CNV laser helmet April 14, 2018. Most of my bald spots are undetectable, and my hair over all my head is noticeably thicker! I researched CNV and all the competitors about a year ago. After exhaustive research, I determined CNV seemed to be the very best. I purchased it for my husband and he started using in around March/April of this year. I took "before" pics and was going to wait until month 3. But... I noticed such an obvious difference at 5 weeks that I took pics. I took the pics and showed him the views from the back, sides and above and he was just blown away. He said, "I thought I had more hair but I didn''''t want to get my hopes up". Now at 4 months, he literally has not thin "bald" spot in back and his widows peak is not nearly as big. However, I will add that I''''m much happier with this than the minoxidil or rogaine treatments that I''''ve used in the past.
